Lexey had a rough moring today. Brian and Kim went up to the hospital and Dr. Jenkins was there. They had to put a new PIC line into Lexey. They currently have one that goes through her naval, but her blood sugar dropped and she was not getting enough of the fliuids they tried to push. So the new PIC line goes up her arm and will go almost to her heart. If it will work as well as they hope, they will remove the line in her tummy. This morning her blood pressure also dropped. They are hoping that when they start pushing fluids through her PIC line that her blood pressure will go up. The nurse told Brian that they are going to probably give her milk in a couple of days if she keeps improving. When I went to see her, the nurse had put a bow in her hair! She is just about the cutest thing ever. My dad got a good picture of her and I will upload it tomorrow as I can't find my cord right now. Thank you for all of your prayers and love!!

Dear Martin family, I am a sister to Darren and Kim Rose and I just wanted to let you know that my family will be praying for yours. We will pray that little Lexey continues to improve, grow and gain strength everyday and also pray for mom and dad to have the strength they need to get through this hard time. Hang in there.

I am Cheryl, Kim's visiting teacher and we were able to visit with them last night and they seemed so up beat and I think that is half the battle and Lexey will feel that and she will try even harder! She and her parents are in our prayers and we are fating for them all! We love you!!
Thanks Sarah,
This is a great blog and much more accurate than a "BECK" phone tree. I pray all the fasting and prayers give lexey a boost in the right direction.

Keep fighting Lexey. You have great parents who are pulling for you as well as a ton of others.

I have complete faith that the doctors know what they are doing. That is why they make the big $$$.
Hang in there. We love you guys!
Hang in there you guys! It sounds like things may be improving a little... the doctors these days and what they can do is a miracle in and of itself. Never give up your Faith, Hope or Love for her. My family and I continue to pray for you as well...
